From the first taste of Pump Street Bakery Chocolate we were hooked they make small batch, handmade chocolates in Suffolk from beans imported directly to the bakery from family farms and cooperatives around the world.
Pump Street hand select the beans and then carefully roast, winnow, grind and conch them for up to 5 days before maturing and tempering the chocolate into bars. They tailor the process at each step of the way to coax a unique flavour from our different types of beans.
This obsessive care and attention to detail yields a chocolate that is entirely manufactured in Suffolk and unbelievably delicious.
Initially rich, a satisfying melt releases hints of sweet, juicy berries. Serendipitously for a Jamaican bar, it rounds into a distinctive honeyed rum finish.
Cocoa Beans, cane sugar & organic cocoa butter. Minimum 75% cocoa solids. Made in a bakery that uses dairy, gluten and nuts.
