Way back when, when a more homeopathic pharmacy was used, this little pot would have contained something that you would have rubbed onto dry and cracked skin (much like a modern day Vaseline!). You could imagine them all lined up on a shelf, looking rather spectacular!
A super lovely pot though, with lovely typography. She has a chip to the back of the lid but in keeping with age and style.
