We are back this year with another 12 fantastic markets, find us at the Unitarian Meeting House on Churchgate St, Bury St Edmunds on the first Saturday of the month from May.
So how did it all start...........We moved back to Suffolk a few years ago and although we love the countryside we missed a few things from the city. I used to head out on a Saturday, grab a coffee and walk my dog around London's markets. It was always a brilliant way of finding unique gifts or bagging something truly quirky for my home. When I moved to Bury St Edmunds I went in search of craft markets but was always left a little disappointed with the standard of product so I decided to start the Ivy Joan & Friends Market.
We develop really close relationships with all our traders who we vet to ensure their product is of the highest standard. We aim to keep the markets fresh and up to date so are always on the lookout for new talent. Our stall holders are local businesses so by visiting the markets you are supporting local artists and makers.
We have an eclectic mix of stalls and product, from chutneys to cactuses, art to antiques..... come and see for yourself. We serve gorgeous cakes and coffees to fuel you while you shop they are certainly worth a visit. For updates and further information join our mailing list at the bottom of this page.
In addition to hosting our markets on the first Saturday of the month each month from May and we will be holding our four day event over Christmas to coincide with Bury St Edmunds Christmas Market. As always we will be at the Unitarian Meeting House in Bury St Edmunds which you can find on Churchgate Street, its a lovely venue just as enchanting as the markets themselves.
If you are interested in having a stall don't hesitate to get in touch via our contact us page.
