Printed in 1880 this is quite possibly the most amazing book spine we’ve ever seen! This is a fourth edition of a ‘manual of the mollusca’ by Ralph Tate. It has some beautiful internal plates but that book spine is a show piece that will add some real drama to any bookshelf!
It has some wear and tear but for the age it is in lovely condition. We particularly love the gilt edge.
