Gosh this is incredibly cool, quite a rare find. It would have been used as a water carrier and then been available on a table to serve. This piece is from Provence, it’s in the famous deep green which is sought after due to its rarity. These are rarely found in perfect condition like this piece as the handles are delicate but this has clearly been looked after.
