Well this is a beauty, it’s an early piece, I love how bold it is! A gorgeous combination of fruit and flowers but add that beautiful background and it is just the most dreamy piece! I particularly love that deep green complementing the orange of the fruit. The detailing on the plate is unreal, I could look at it all day.
She is well worn with a few splits and tears but overall with the age it’s still absolutely stunning. A really beautiful antiques. Painted in 1883, dated and signed. Oil on canvas.
