This is a fun piece, she is well work but beautiful I really love the contrast of the flowers. The velvety feel of the roses and the light petals of the dahlia. It is painted by French artist Léon Mayet (Born 1858), his earlier pieces well florals before he moved onto landscapes and studies, so this is likely to be painted pre 1900. If you love a rustic piece then this would work, she’s great for a shabby chic aesthetic. She has paint chipping on the piece and the corners are well worn but she is a beautiful find. Perfect for adding warmth to a room.
