This is the loveliest portrait. We think the colour tones used in it are what drew me to it at the market. Such a gorgeous piece, lovely and dark. I love these old paintings and when they are small like this, even better! This one is painted on board for me it makes the piece incredibly charming, shows it’s age, I love these rustic pieces.
