This is gorgeous, a beautiful French oil on canvas, the details on it are so beautiful, those little buttons the creases in the fabric of the clothes and that face of course. It has a small tear and lots of wear but all part of its look and charm. It is an old piece and that add authenticity to it. I really love this piece. He is oil on canvas. By artist De Korff his work fetches a handsome sum at auction. Painted in 1880 it is a true antique. Some historic worm that has been treated.
