When launching our new magazine ‘Hiver 2021’ we wanted it to awaken as many senses as possible, of course it’s easy to visually please when you are styling vintage objects, it’s the day job - but we wondered could other senses be awoken into the pages? The touch of the paper, picking something that felt ‘Ivy Joan’ was important, it would be the base for both touch and sound as the page flicks over. It was tricky to kindle taste but by adding a recipe we hoped you would be able to draw on that and taste the blackberries of the recipe we included which left us with scent to fulfil……. Being a candle maker this was of course something that had to be right so roll on our new seasonal scent. The scent of Hiver 2021 is Blackberries & Bay, a fresh floral fragrance with blackberries, lemon and green leaves mixed with lilly of the valley and precious woods. The limited edition scent is available in two sizes, as always lovingly made at our Suffolk farmhouse with beautiful soy wax!
