I am very in love with vintage oil paintings, but this is something else. It’s a huge painting on canvas. This was possibly part of a wall drape from a chateau or manor. It’s enormous and even though the original canvas is worn this has been totally reframed making it an incredibly sturdy piece. All paintings are lovely but this one is stunning the colours are just beautiful, she’s also huge. The flowers are stunning set off by the beautiful background, this is an old piece so has some knocks but they really are part of this piece.
