I am very in love with vintage oil paintings at the moment, this one is stunning the colours are just beautiful! Painted around 1930 she is a stunning piece, the artist is Jose Palmeiro a well known artist who painted from 1903-84, his flower collection was painted from 1930-1933. The deep background colour is stunning so dreamy! I love the mix of colours in the flowers. The artist is a known french artist so it is a lovely piece bound to grow in value.
My favourite one from this trip, I especially love how the canvas in frayed and battered, it was lovely to find a painting so special and by a well regarded artist.
