Oh my goodness this is special, you just don’t find pots like this everyday that’s for sure! A lovely piece, with a rare painted front. Originally a confiture pot, a few chips and grazes but a nice watertight piece. Beautiful collectors piece. These are from Provence and you’ll notice the glaze has come away in places, this is from the pots being buried to keep them cool.
