Now I say this is a pomander like I know, I don’t! But it’s my best guess! It reminds me of a faiselle but it isn’t as you wouldn’t get the cheese out so my next guess is a pomander, I could imagine this being a scent holder. Either way it’s a lovely piece and for me that’s the joy of vintage it can really be whatever you want it to be!
