This piece is a stunner, she’s so rustic but completely gorgeous! This one is from Provence just south of the ardeche, it’s an antique piece and is truly stunning. Originally used for preserves which is why it’s lost some glaze, this happens as they are buried to keep cool. The colour is stunning, a lovely bright yellow with the perfect amount of ware, little fleas and chippy glaze, just stunning! The shape is lovely as it’s a short wide piece which in these preserves jars isn’t the usual shape.
