This is remarkable and absolutely my bag, from the late 1700s- early 1800s it’s a very old piece. The details are very special; the eyes, the offering in the hand and those glorious plats, you don’t find something like this very often. folk style religious pieces are my favourite finds, I dream of specialising in this genre one day but finding it is tough! This piece is beautiful, it is well worn as these pieces are but for me that’s why they are so special, the age, the authenticity, the story!
