I have never been so excited to launch a new product than this. When we launched our first magazine back in 2019 I spoke fondly about my dreams of one day writing a book. This isn’t that but it is a very large step in the right direction and it is so incredibly special that it may be just as exciting.
Today we are launching ‘The Companion’, a beautiful A5, 180 page 2023 diary filled with Ivy Joan images, quotes and positive affirmations – the perfect partner for Brocante lovers everywhere.
It is a traditional diary planner but with the Ivy Joan touch. You’ll be able to jot down engagements and birthdays as you would a traditional diary but the twist is it has a very special opening to each month - an introduction to our favourite French market that takes place within that month. There will be photos, top tips on what to look out for and all the details you need to locate the market on the day. This is a fantastic guide for those passionate about brocanting, whether you are already out doing it in France or curious to start. It may be the final push you need to take the plunge and get out there for yourself. It’s also a superb gift for those that simply love French vintage. It provides a great opportunity to learn about where our products come from and our life buying, even down to the best place for a Pain Au Chocolat!
As well as the monthly markets this diary also has a beautiful introduction piece that will give you some overall knowledge on the world of French brocanting and vintage buying & selling.

An awful lot of work has gone into this project as you can imagine so we have erred on the side of caution and order is by pre-order only, this will be open for jiet one week until this project goes to print meaning we can deliver in time for Christmas and most importantly for you to start writing down your appointments and engagements from January.
We really want this project to work so please shout about it loud and proud, this is certainly not just for Brocante fans, it is a truly beautiful publication filled with over 50 full page images so lots for everyone and we hope as many people get to experience it as possible.
