What a find, this is an absolute dream! I love it so much, the colour, the texture the shape! It would have been an old preserves jar but fast forward to now and this is certainly a show piece! This piece is rustic but that’s been the style since the day it was made so there are some knocks and grazes but these are inkeeping with the style. The piece is from the end of the 19C so a serious amount of age. These colour on these pottery pieces are more often than not of Provence origins and we picked her up in central Provence so inkeeping of the regions style. She has a narrow base so needs to be well cared for when positioning but truly lovely.
