Set the scene... you're holidaying in France and you take a wander through the gorgeous French valleys and come across an old house nestled into the side of the hill. A stillness in the air whilst the chickens peck at the ground. I'm in the daydream and I don't want to return to reality yet! I bet that gorgeous old farmhouse is filled with antique pots too!! What a dream! A lovely old piece!
Some ware to the edges of the board but I actually quite enjoy the imperfections in this piece. The tone is simple perfect an early painting.
