This is a beautiful painting, one of my favourites to date. Painted in a folk style depicting a Mother and her child. Oil on canvas, nice condition a really captivating piece. She is signed and dated painted in 1937. I love the texture that’s been painted in the hair and the sweet tree detailing in the back. A very special piece.
