When launching our new magazine ‘Été 22’ we wanted it to awaken as many senses as possible, of course it’s easy to visually please when you are styling vintage objects, it’s the day job - but we wondered could other senses be awoken into the pages? The touch of the paper, picking something that felt ‘Ivy Joan’ was important, it would be the base for both touch and sound as the page flicks over. It was tricky to kindle taste but by adding a recipe we hoped you would be able to draw on that and taste the rhubarb of the recipe we included which left us with scent to fulfil……. Being a candle maker this was of course something that had to be right so roll on our new seasonal scent. The scent of Été 2022 is Rhubarb & White Lilac, for me this light fresh floral fragrance smells just like the start of summer, the epitome of those early days as the blossom is in full swing and the bulbs are sprouting, the rhubarb adds the most gentle sweetness. The limited edition scent is available in two sizes, as always lovingly made at our Suffolk farmhouse with beautiful soy wax!
We have three shipment dates on these the first batch will be dispatched this week, the second next week and the lady will go the last week of the month.
