This is a magnificent piece, from 1879 it is scribed on the back with the year and then an explanation in french of what is inside. This beautiful frames are in themselves a real find but to find a filled, dated one as beautiful as this is superb.
These old pieces always fill me with a lot of joy knowing that all those years ago someone was enjoying the past time of creating this stunning piece.
