This is an incredibly special find, she’s huge so perfect for a focal point of a room. My husbands desperate to keep this, it’s a place very special to us, Mont Saint Michel. The painting is on a heavy hessian, it has later been added to a frame, I do wonder because of the size and the tools used if it is potentially trench art? It has been restored at a later date, this is a historic repair. Please note this piece is over a metre in size so she is very large.
