Isn't this just the most idyllic painting. It makes me so excited for the warmer weather and being out in the garden. Afternoon tea in the sunshine whilst the children play... doesn't get much better than that! A lovely French piece painted in the 1930s, it is on board and it is a worn piece with ware and age to the corners and edges, a truly magical piece which very much reminds me of the style Lucy Tiffney paints.
