I bought this painting from a dealer in Paris, a beautiful boat painting. I am particularly partial to a nautical painting, my favourite place is by the sea and having paintings of the water in my home make me feel close to the sea even when I’m inland. This piece is painted in beautiful muted colours making it suitable for many interiors. It’s painted on an art board so could be left as is or easily framed. She is a lovely piece, signed and dated from 1932.
She is well worn, a shabby piece but for me that age and authenticity is what makes her.
