I think this is the loveliest token of someone's passing. I wish it was something we still did now, as it’s a lovely gesture. Imagine if you had a few of these for people in your garden near a bench so you could sit and take a moment to remember them. Such a lovely idea. These pieces are incredibly rustic so if you like your vintage a little more perfect then there probably aren't for you! Originally they would have been found at graves so they are well weathered, this one dates back to 1932. I love that it has Noel on it, she does have lots of wear and a crude repair so has been priced accordingly.
