I think this is the loveliest token of someone's passing. I wish it was something we still did now, as it’s a lovely gesture. Imagine if you had a few of these for people in your garden near a bench so you could sit and take a moment to remember them. Such a lovely idea. These pieces are incredibly rustic so if you like your vintage a little more perfect then there probably aren't for you! Originally they would have been found at graves so they are well weathered, this one dates back to 1951. I love that it, it’s a really rustic one, that dark background from weathering is very cool! Like I say she does have lots of wear and a chip to the top so has been priced accordingly. Very lovely piece though.
