I think this may potentially be my favourite piece of the whole trip. This gorgeous wicker travelling basket would have originally been out on the back of the cars, normally at the top, as the wicker meant the rain bounced off the basket (not damaging the things inside). There is some damage to this piece - there is a couple of missing corners, it is slightly faded and there is a little damage to the leather straps but these straps also have numbers on them - which we think is mega cool! A lovely rustic piece from days gone by!
